Beginners' Kundalini Yoga - Ongoing

Relax, reduce stress, strengthen your nervous and immune systems, and balance your glands. Take some time out each week to connect with your centre, stretch your body and practice inner stillness. 

This series provides an introduction to Kundalini Yoga, a dynamic system combining breathing, movement, stretching, postures, mudras (hand gestures), eye focus, the use of sacred sounds and rhythm, relaxation and meditation. It is carefully designed to expand awareness, develop inner joy and foster an experience of one's divine true nature. The Kundalini refers to the flow of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, heightened through the practice of yoga. Kundalini Yoga helps to develop flexibility and strength, balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, and bring stability and clarity to the mind and emotions. It provides an antidote to the stress response.
